AU Timeline. Was unfrozen in the 1980s where I rekindled my friendship with Peggy Carter but did not attempt another relationship. I joined the punk scene, at the Extreme opprobium of Tony Stark- which was where our rivalry really started, despite that it technically started with Howard and I. I realized I was gay, not bi, gay, and became a huge LGBT+ rights activist. The government attempted to shut me out of being an "American Hero" because of this. I continued to fight for justice. Eventually, when the Avengers were being assembled, despite our mutual hatred, Tony Stark attempted to get me to join the Avengers. I originally had no interest in joining Tony's team of morally washed super"heros", but Natasha talked me into checking it out and I became good friends with most of the team, so I decided to accept. I still couldn't stand Tony though. We could barely be in the same room together.

TW Internalized transphobia and mention of "conversion therapy"
In my second Jer timeline, she was a trans girl. She had height dysphoria, anemia, and really bad self esteem issues. The squip was not a good person/thing/whatever. Jer got it because she hoped it would make her more normal- which to both her and the squip included Just Being Male. The squip literally sent shocks through her whenever she would have feminine thoughts or actions in attempt to beat it out of her. When the squip was defeated, she began transitioning personally- and came out to Michael who was super supportive. At the end of the BMC canon, she ended up dating Christine and about 3 months into their relationship she came out as a trans girl to her and Christine came out as bisexual at the same time and they were both still comfortable with the relationship so it continued!
